My Love

I see your eternal love,
A picture in my mind.
Sweet thoughts of you that never end,
A picture left behind.

It’s been a week since you’ve been gone,
It seems it’s been 5 years.
But love will keep me moving on,
And rid away these tears.

I see your beloved soul,
To fight this pain inside.
Pain that one should not endure,
This ache I try to hide.

I fight away what the monsters said,
I wish they’d go away.
Putting thoughts into my head,
I keep your friends at bay.

I see your dream of hope,
The dream you always had,
A smile runs across your face,
A dream that makes me sad.

It seems my love you wont detect,
A love you will not deal
Or is it that it can’t effect,
A love that is not real.

I see your beautiful smile,
It brings some life to me.
Sweet thoughts of you that never end,
Sweet thoughts of you that will never be.
