I will be waiting...

I understand the things you say,
Even though it makes me sad,
We sat and had a talk today,
I gave you everything I had.

Even if you don’t come back,
I’ll wait this year for you,
Even if this love you lack,
I’ll do what I want to do,

I’m happy,
even if you’ve gone away,
I continue to keep this love for you,
In hope that you’ll come back to me,
on a distant far found day,

They think I’m stupid, they laugh at what I do,
They criticize and ridicule this love I have for you,
It dosen’t matter anymore, nothing matters anymore,
The only thing that matters anymore, is the love and what its for,

Just know that I will love you,
And maybe that is sad to hear,
But I will do what I want to do,
Even if that means a year.

Maybe you don’t love me,
And you think this will just be more easy,
But I’ll be waiting, in my heart forever,
Even if that means my love for someone else,
Will end up being never.

well i totally understand this poem as well.I got to this poem by my ex boyfriend we were together for two years he dedicated it to me. Though things were really crucial when we broke up i felt like i had no one i made him my everything to find out at the end that he didnt appreciate nothing. I feel stupid knowing that now that i moved on he is willing to change even though i want to be with him and i still love him its hard to get back to someone that has hurt you so much in the past. be smart about brake ups, that it and try to move on the quicker you do it the less pain u feel even though everytime you see that person it will hurt you, you still know that you got your dignity. I love you Moy i always will but sometimes its just a little too late :cry

the day me nd my boyfriend broke up, he had told me he loved me with all his heart and he promised to be with me forever...so when we broke up, i was confused...then a couple days later, he found him a new girlfriend..and it hurts like hell everytime i think about him or go on his myspace page to look at his pictures...i know tho that him nd his new girlfriend arent going to last nd that's what keeps me going...i really do love him...he was more than my boyfriend, he was my best friend..before we started going out we were friends nd i would tell him everything...even wat i was thinking about(something i dont tell people)...he helped me wit alot of my problems...oh well tho :cry

I am about three yrs older than the love of my life, and she and I just had a beautiful baby girl. My girlfriend's mother forced us to split up, because she doesn't like me. She won't tell me why either. I have my own home I have a very good job, and I make enough money to take care of what is mine. This poem is the closest one I have found that kind of puts into words, how I feel about my situtuation. Just know that it isn't alway the boys fault and sometimes it isn't even the girls fault. I think if I was that man, I would wait, but then again I am the person that wrote the poem above. You can never tell if someone is going to wait for you as you would wait for them.
