A girl I knew

There was a girl that I once knew,
She opened up a world to me,
A girl that when with, it seemed time flew,
A world only me and her could see,

Her love it seemed would never end,
Until her outlook took a bend,
I didn’t understand or see,
How now her love could just not be,

Her love it made me sad and mad,
My jealously took a tole on us,
But happiness is what I had,
Even though It made me cuss,

Her beauty could stun a blinded man,
A celebrity with just one fan,
I watched her fall asleep at night,
Even though it didn’t seem right,

Friends would get right in our way,
It made me mad at times,
I started hating what they’d say,
A fuel for all my rhymes,

Her smarts could kill an able wise man,
So off to college she then ran,
I watched no one all through the night,
Even though it didn’t see right,

I’d sit and think of her and me,
And how perfect our life could be,
But prefect would need love from both sides,
And deep inside that girl it hides,

Her love could taunt just any man,
But a man can do just what he can,
So I sit and think all though the night,
It doesn’t matter if its right.
