Tonight

 

 

 

I’ll hold back my tears tonight

As I know I can’t have you with me

I’ll try to sleep tonight

But what’s the point?

When I wake up nothing will have changed.

 

I’ll be sad tonight

And probably tomorrow too

I’ll put on an act though

To try to keep a straight face around you

I know you won’t sense my pain

 

I’ll think of you tonight

It’s so hard to not cry

Heartbreak feels so low

I’ll try to forget my sorrow

As I know you won’t think of me

 

I’ll see the stars tonight

And watch them twinkle in the charcoal sky

If the universe is infinite

Then I’ll look for a parallel world

Where you and me are together

 

And I’ll just wish I was there.

This poem. .. I don't have words to describe it, I am touched. . . But I only have to say . . .That you all are so lucky for having that chance to be with that person, I mean , that you can see them, laugh with them, even touch them. . .And you should cry, yes cry if its hard, because you gave everything to be with them , but it's just not enough. . but you should be thankefull just to see that person smill even if you can't feel him or her.. .. I, I only cry because his gone forever . . :sigh

i was reading the comments co im confedent in saying im the only guy commenting. lol .... i love this poem... there is this one girl i love more than anything else and she lives really close to me.. but even tho she is close i can't even reach her.. she will never be mine...i dont want to believe it...i gave her my heart cuz im positive i will never love another as i did with you... :( :cry :cry :cry

this is exactly how i feel, the man i love has been with my best friend for over a year now and ive loved him ever since before that. and she has no idea... neither does he. i just have to put up with seeing them together and pretend i'm fine with it, and i have to lie to him everyday because i cant tell him just how much he means to me.
