Emo Love Story

Published by at 12:56 pm under emo Poems

It was
her first day
of school.
She didn’t
know anybody.
She didn’t
have friends.
And
she didn’t
want to
be here.
This was
her fathers
fault.
He was
responsible
for her
unhappiness.
She figured
she would
be the only
emo.
So
she sulked
to school.
She arrived
at school
an hour
early.
There was
a boy
sitting
on the
left side
of the
staircase.
She sat
on the
right.
Barely
whispering
“hi”.
Somehow,
he had heard
her,
and he said
“what
do you
want
from me?”
“i love you…”
“i don’t
feel the
same
about you.”
She ran
to her
home,
upstairs,
and into
her room.
She grabbed
the box
that held
her knife,
gun,
and poetry.
Tears
streamed
down her
face,
as she
ran into
the bathroom.
She grabbed
the knife.
She crossed
out the
words
on her arm
“LOVE”.
Then she
slit
both wrists.
On
a blank
piece of
paper,
she
scrawled a
suicide note.
Then,
grabbed
the gun.
Unlocked
the safety.
She shot
the image
of herself
in the mirror.
All the
shattered pieces
fell
to the floor.
Each one,
representing
a lost
hope
or
dream.
She held
the gun
to her
dyed black
hair covered
temple.
Like she
had done
many times.
But this
particular time
was different.
This time
her phone
rang.
She
answered it.
It was
him.
She immediately
hung up,
and threw it
across the room.
It hit
the wall
and broke.
The gun
was still pointed
at
her temple.
She pulled
the trigger.

He couldn’t
stop thinking
about
the girl
he had met.
He
had lied
to her.
He did
love her.
He thought
as he
walked home.
He found
his mother
in
the kitchen
crying.
His mother
told him
Ryan
commited
suicide.
He
couldn’t believe
his ears.
He ran
to her
house.
Without knocking,
he plowed
through
the door,
and into
the bathroom.
There she was.
Dead.
He started
to sob.
As he
grabbed
the gun.
Then Ryan’s
lifeless hand.
He shot
himself
in the temple.
Lifeless…
