My Love For You

My love for you
Is like the sky,
With dreams that soar
And hopes that fly.

It's like a
Never ending ocean,
An everlasting,
Deep emotion.

It has the tenderness
Of spring,
The charm that warmth
And laughter bring.

It has the simple
Strength of stone.
It shields us from
A life alone.

It's ever growing,
Ever new.
It's always there,
My love for you.

I love this poem very well put.. and damned if I know why I read poetry these days.. it tends to make me cry.. alot… because regardless of what anyone may think… or the wrongs that have been done… My heart is forever his and I miss him so very much.. He had me from hello… it was his goodbye’s that always crucified me… and as the name says.. I wait for him forever.. it may make no sense.. but who can really explain love.. especially when it is unconditional.. My main wish right now is that he is ok..

and cardinals on my window sill;
I love you more than springtime rain
that makes things clean and fresh again.

I love you more than a sunny day,
that warms the soul with each bright ray;
I love you more than the moon and stars,
that beckon to us from afar.

I love you more each passing day,
more than words could ever say.

awwww… i love this poem it is so romantic and it really grasps the concept of love… and i would know im being fought over as we speak… i wish i could get through to them and tell them what i think but all they do is express their love through poetry and gifts. i dont want that i want what your poem is describing… like i was saying the poem really grasps what everyone wants from love and what you will have when you truly have foynd the one… (l)
