No matter what,
I will love you till the end,
Shout, blame, criticize, I no more care
‘cause what I’ve got is much more important & rare
You stabbed me in my loyalty & faithfulness
Counting on your own beliefs, thoughts, & analysis
Keep up the good work my friend
And trust me you will soon reach a dead-end
Time would defeat you though you still had the key
By then, you would look around and you would see
A face that you might recognize;
Perhaps by then you would apologize,
Or you could just ask:
“Have we met before?”
By hook or by crook, I would say:
“It’s me, my love, if I may?
An old friend of yours who has always been
Your shadow, your companion; but since when
Have you blocked your eyes, shut your heart,
Deleted what we had entirely from the start?”
Would it be too late by then,
To open my arms and hold you in?
Or could we have missed the clock
Building that wall block by block
Now, You tell me my friend,
Is this the end???
