Not Your Suspect

Published by at 12:17 pm under I Love You Poems

It kills me to se you like this
The way you breathe
It’s like you’re suffocating
It’s like your life will cease

I didn’t know that you would turn into this
I never thought I would become your addiction
Now you call me your drug
You tell me I’m your only conviction

Believe me I’m not a murderer
I only came to see
Believe me I really love you
It wasn’t only you who loved me

I’m not telling this just for sake of it
Coz I’m in pain too
Why can’t you see this?
Why can’t you see my fatal wounds?

I know you can hear my voice
I know you can feel my heartbeat
So stop pretending
Stop trying hard to stay away from me

I know you love me
Then why do you doubt me
You know I would die for you
Why can’t you just let it be?

So don’t be too late to save me from falling
Don’t be the one to kill me
I want to live with you
Don’t try hard to plan an evil scheme

This made me think of something that happened a long time ago.
It was written very well, yet the ending wasn’t what i expected, somehow.
Love the rest, though. Very much.

When you’re speaking to someone through the beginning of the poem it’s best to keep the same language throughout. The last line, I think, didn’t feel like something you’d actually say to somone else, maybe that threw it off.
Idk, other than that you did a magnificent job, and I thank you for sharing it!! 😀
