Tears

I love walking in the rain
Me and my broken hart
Crying in vain,
All the while being torn apart

Shedding my tears
Where nobody cares
After all these years
Only receiving stares

Falling with a soft sound
Gliding down leaves
Not in any way bound
Like tiny, little thieves

Cleansing my soul
Or so it would seem
Something you stole
Nothing more than a dream

The tears blind me
From reality
And if I could see
I wonder how sad I’d be

All in all
Tears are great
You don’t have to feel small
…Just wait
