This is me

my heart is dark
my mind is twisted
these are only two things
about me that I have listed

I’m full of sorrow
I’m full of fear
fear that soon
my end will be near

such sad eyes
such pale skin
and when I try not to let it
the sadness always wins

I put on fake smiles
I always told lies
one of them being is
“I’m fine”
