A heart of stone like mine
I am nothing more than a statue,
Created by the artists to talented to love.
So lonely I wait,
More often than not,
I stand rigid listening to soft words,
Of the innocent strangers,
Or the rare occasion passes,
When lovers exchange
Erotic sentences,
And lusty gropes.
And my stony lips will stifle,
Envious sighs.
Hoping one day I will be the receiver,
Of more than just the butt of a teenage joke.
I have been touched by many,
And loved by less.
But perhaps when I have been patient enough,
Some lonely heart will find me,
A rid me of this grey attire,
To find within me the connection they desire.
So for now I wait,
Continuing my subtle way about life,
In my ever stiff and awkward way.
I feel your words, and they touched my heart.
aww im glad (:
