Blank

nothing to write
it’s all out of sight
my memories faded
have i been persuaded?
everything of the past is of the past
we all know it wouldn’t last
standing there clueless with nothing to say
did i have a wonderful day?
my mind racing around the track
trying to figure a way back
lost in the darkness
guided by just a spark
lead by fear of loss
that would sure be of cost
