Debris of Heart

Published by at 7:04 am under Heartbreak Poems

The earth trembles as rain pours down
The sky is torn apart.
Lightning flashes, trees burn down,
This is my breaking heart.

The oceans rise and fall and flood
What’s left is just debris.
And in the wreckage of our love,
There’s no trace left of me.

Mountains quake and storms erupt;
the whole world is in pain.
Tornadoes shred through flesh and bone.
There’s blood. And ash. And rain.

Fires burn, volcanoes burst.
The sky is torn apart.
My tears descends like acid rain.
This is my breaking heart.
