Feelings Poem

There must be a wound!
No one can be this hurt
and not bleed.

How could she injure me so?
No marks
No bruise

Worse!
People say ‘My, you’re looking well’
?..God help me!
She’s mummified me –
ALIVE!

    I feel the same way except with a guy of course being hurt yet it doesn\’t show and it feels like other people just dont know what your going through keep up the good work!!!

    I honestly think this is horrible. I dont think this should be even considered a poem! Its confusing. 😕 I mean common mate! I do understand what you are going through though. Heart breaks are worse than death because you have to live through the broken heart.

    It hurts so much we feel only pain and the person we thought love you back but in reality love is hard to find

    For those of you writing comments directly to the author of this poem: Spike Milligan was an extremely famous English poet who died in 2002 and this poem was written in the 1960\’s.

    He was known for his surreal and comedic poetry and this is one of my favourite poems of his – especially now that i\’m heartbroken and really understand what he means by heartbreak hurting so much that there should be a physical wound!

    when you first fall in love your blinded by that person at some point the love disappers and you start liking other guys butt cant imagine a life with out your first love! why is love so diffacult :sigh :sigh :sigh :cry :eek 😕 :sigh 😡 :cry :upset :cry
