Full moon & stars light the dark,
Yet they never compare to your eyes,
This marks the night I started to believe,
All of the beautiful lies.

You take me by the hand,
Lead me to a distant place,
Lost in my mind and I can’t help but imagine,
I see myself dressed in satin & lace.

Then you stop slowly,
Put your arms around my waist,
Your lips pressed against mine,
I savor the sweet taste.

Since then you’ve taken my heart hostage,
&It’s managed to tear to peices,
Still I never stop thinking of you,
My love never ceases.

The pain with you gone,
Is so hard to bear,
The memories play back,
Into the distance; I stare.

I shatter at the promise,
“We’ll be together forever”,
My heart screams at the helpless lie,
“I will leave you; never”.

My mind wants to forget,
Your loving tender voice,
But my heart begs for it,
And leaves me no choice.

The face of an angel,
Brings tears to my eyes,
Remembering your smile,
Makes my soul slowly die.

It hurts even more,
To know our love was true,
And that your only gone,
Because of those with nothing better to do.

Maybe if we plead & cry,
We’ll make it through this storm,
Baby; this is our last resort,
But we need it; we can’t be torn.

I can’t give my love to anyone else,
No matter how hard I try,
So I save all my love,
For the nights that I cry.

If I could do it,
I’d tear out my heart,
Give it you,
So we’d never be apart.

Wish we could sneak away,
From their selfishness & lust,
&All those who doubt us,
Would blow away to dust.

It’s the world agaisnt us,
But I think we’re gonna make it,
This might be forbidden love,
But together we can take it.
