Forgive and Forget

I’ll forgive,
It doesn’t matter what you do,
You know this love and all I have,
Will always be here for you.
I’ll forget,
Anything you ask me to,
If you don’t like when I bring it up,
My words I’ll think them through.
I’ll love,
Even if you don’t want me to,
Obsession, call it want you want,
But this is the one promise that I’ll always keep for you,
I’ll live,
You know my dreams are all I see,
Our life is what its for,
I’m going to be the best that I can ever truly be.
I’ll trust,
Anything you ever say,
I put you higher then these fools,
And that is where you’ll stay.

I’ll Forget, I’ll love, I’ll live,
I’ll trust and I’ll forgive,
My love will never go away,
This is all I have to give.

    it was an amazing poem because i can compair it to my life…i dated a guy for 2 years and his best friend said he was using me so i left him ..and now i wish i never left becuause it is 4 months later and i still love him

    Its so true what your saying, Im still with my boyfreind were going on a Year and 8months… we have both cheated and all though we forgave its really hard to forget, its been a while since it all happened, but the pain is still fresh, its almost now we just keep drifting apart.

    I think that this poem could be seen as sweet and loving. I personally think that its quite pathetic. You need to stand up for yourself in a relationship. \”I\’ll forget anything you ask me to\”.Youre giving the other person all the power over you. Youre allowing them to break your heart and you say you will still be there. I once felt the way that all these other comments seem to be, so sweet and such but hindsight and experience has shown me you need some independence because you never know what could happen and you have to be able to stand on your own two feet.[U]could[/U][B]all[/B] :sigh

    this is very sad i it really reminds me of my ex boyfriend we went through a lot and he alwayz made me cry but i would forget and forgive and i would take him back :sigh :cry 😕

    Some people\’s input on poetry writing cracks me up. Calling this poem \”pathetic\” is quite funny. But that\’s the power of opinion. Because as you may find it \”pathetic\” others may find it good. Like the people who have added it to their personal blogs or areas on the web.

    i liked the poem…becoz its reality….we cant stop livin..cant stop lovin…but even though we give chances to love…and it still kills us…maybe….in this poem…u just said wat how uve feeled….but…if you really want things to be better…u should…think of the other persons heart…coz its not a kestion about our self…should think of the others….even though i like the poem… 🙂
