Getting Close.
I am afraid to get to close
I fear I might get hurt
I see myself getting tossed away
In one single simple spurt
I would like to get close to her
But that is something I can’t do
I could find myself in love
And that would be something new
I would really like to try it
It could be something nice
But I’m afraid that if I did
She would turn as cold as ice
Until I get the courage
To give it one good try
I guess I’ll stay at home
And try hard not to cry.

Wow. It’s such a struggle to get past that fear. Its something I hope to have the courage for everyday. Still haven’t found it though! lol!
