Good Enough
To look in those eyes,
And meet only contempt,
There was no disguise,
And they did not relent.
I tried so hard,
Just to make you happy.
I came so far,
God, I sound sappy.
I did my best,
Cried silent tears,
As you smiled at the rest,
And scorned me for years.
You could never find a way,
Just to love me,
Though I spent everyday,
Trying desperately.
You could never get rid,
Of all the other stuff,
No matter what I did,
It wasn’t good enough.
Despite the efforts I made,
And how hard I tried,
When I felt myself fade,
You still weren’t satisfied.
So now I have to say,
Even though it’s tough,
That I hope that one day,
No–I’ll never be good enough.
Depression and poems as good as this don’t mix well.
I..
Yeah.
It’s as though you’ve seen into my heart.
No, I just saw into his eyes. That was all it took…I can’t even look at him anymore.
Dang, I hope you’re doing okay dude, cuz this sounds sad as hell.
you sounded like me, same situation.
Re People need a reason to chagne search engines There are plenty of good reasons to switch from google.Google now tracks everything one does on the web for a lot of people:* those that use firefox’ built-in anti-phishing feature, it means every URL you visit goes to google first,* google syndication and doubleclick engulfment can cover pretty the entirety of an unsuspecting person’s web behavior* people have somehow turned the verb search into google , adding more to the omnipresence of googlePersonally I’ve long been using yahoo and other so-called B-List search engines. Admittedly the results are not as good as google. But I believe in choice, and fair competitiveness and variety . I don’t and will not buy into this frightening Google == WWW trend. It may suit them and their shareholders , but it doesn’t suit the interest of privacy, innovation, fair market competitiveness . PS. Note , I don’t mind using google’s blogger services, because there are other blogging services that on par with their service.
