Because of Her

Published by at 5:58 am under Heartbreak Poems

Her perfect face
The nicest eyes
No flaw to place
I don’t even despise

I’m much too young
Four years away
Yet I still sung
About a way

Too far, too late
Your with her now
Is she your fate?
Why wouldn’t you wait?

Her fancy home
Her connected folk
You won’t roam
You’ll never be broke

Her likable friends
Her whitest smile
I don’t meet ends
I don’t have style

She kindly stops
If you fell down
She buttons your tops
You’ll love her gown

She makes you laugh
She gives you joy
I’m just the other half
Of a forgotten, broken toy

Would you remember me
If you saw me on the street?
Would you be happy with glee?
Do I make ends meet?

Hurt me if you please
Ignore me if you prefer
But soon I’ll be with ease
And it’s all because of Her.

This is beautiful…and heartwrenching in it’s own way (at least to me since I’m kinda going through it.) It’s really good 🙂 You did a good job. Keep writing amazingly.

That has really good beat when you read it! ^^ Nothing I love more than a poem that has a consistent rhythm.
but how about “could I make ends meet” rather than “do” because “if” she saw you on the street, grammatically you shouldn’t be using the word “do” anyways. ;P
You seem to have a lot of poet potential.
    Best wishes,
    Asian Shazz.
