How many days since I said I Love You?
How many days since you said it to me?
How long has it been since uve bothered to ask
How I am, and where ive been?

How many days since you called me on an urge?
And told me you missed me more than your life
And that you needed me to drive away the loneliness
Of your busy, satisfying but somewhat incomplete life?

How many days since you playfully said
That you wanted us to sleep together?
How many days since that fairytale promise
We made of loving each other forever?

How many months since I have beheld you?
How many years do you want it to be?
How many ages since Ive felt your touch?
Pure comfort and love and pleasure to me.

How many days since you cooked for me
And fed me while gazing into my eyes
Are you so busy that you dont have time
for love, we are drifting, dont you realise

How many months since we had a petty fight
And ended up kissing each other in the end
How many instances do I need to show
That the cracks are developing, never to mend

How many days since I broke down
On your sholuder, and you help me tight
How many days since I slept in your arms
From twilight to twilight?

How many days since we had an argument
On something both of us were passionate about
How many days since we agreed to disagree
Convinced beyond doubt

How many days since we bitched about people
And laughed like the world was at an end
How many days since we walked hand in hand
With the crowds and roads to wend

There was once a time when I could say without doubt
No matter what, you’d be there
But now that is far too much expectation
The truth is laid bare

Oh my dear, our relationship
Is well past it prime
If you want to save it, we can
This is the only time

If you thinks its over, you need to let me know
For, my beloved, I still love you so.
