Why can’t I trust u?
What am I holding back for?
Why do the words "I trust u"
seem so big in my eyes
why does my heart ache,
when im so sure your lying
but in truth,
u tell no lie
I cant look you in the eyes
see your honesty and faith in me
behind your skin
something stops me
from believing
cuts through my mind like glass
corrupting my angelic views of you
pulling me back
set free my doubtful ways
let me believe every word you say
i’ll rid myself of all doubts in my mind
and finally say
I trust you
