What is love?
Nothing but a lie.
What is love?
Something that will always make you cry

I hear my mother pleading
with her boyfriend on the phone
I dont want to hear this.
I just want to be alone

My friends are finally dating
They ask each other out
But I don’t want anyone to love me
I say this without a doubt

I don’t even love in my dreams
I forbid it so
And I let my heart freeze over
Like the hard ice and snow

I don’t want to love
Nor to be loved
I just want to be home,
Quiet and left alone
