Indispensable

Published by at 1:19 pm under Dark Love Poems

I don’t wanna leave
I don’t wanna cry
Movements of sorrow and grieve
And my eyes are dry

All this time i didn’t hear my voice
It didn’t hurt when you carved my heart
You were the water and i had dissolved
Though i knew you were gonna flow away from the start.

Give me back my time
i never imagined i would want it back
hand over my life
though you have painted it black

Your’e the knife that cuts through hearts
Like a blade you stain
Just like hollow art
That’ll wash away in the rain

Oh why did i ever kiss you?
The poison still lies in my veins
Struggling to breakthrough
But you locked them your invisible chains.

Please don’t hurt me anymore
Please let me go
But i don’t wanna leave
And that is why you do so!

some of the lines were clumsy and were quite hard to read
i like the meaning, love the title, can easily relate
the ending has always been important to me, urs is spot on!
    good job
