Jumping
Crying on the 20 foot wall from which atop she stood,
Staring down at the dark, murky water below her.
All she had known and loved had been ripped away from her at once
In her mind, there was no other option, but to jump
Her parents were gone, her friends all hated her, she had nothing left.
“No one will even notice I’m gone” she thought to herself.
This was not the first time she had tried at death,
The scars on her wrists told the stories from previous attempts.
But this time was different,
This time she had nothing left to live for.
So she did what she thought was best,
She jumped.
