Just me?

Published by at 12:23 am under emo Poems

Love is fragile, a thing to be protected…
Does it matter what i think?
He’s gone.
He’s just
No tales of forbidden secrecy,
No decietful romances.
Just me,
drinking vodca
and carving his name into my skin.
Just me,
trying to forget we ever were.
Just me,
trying to muffle my sobs.
Just me.
So tell me why i even tried?
The good doesn’t kill the bad.
The good times…
They’re just forgotten.
Thrown to the wind –
a whirlwind of regrets
ripping me to shreds.
Every single piece of me being torn to pieces.
As i am consumed by the sands of lost love, i call his name –

He doesnt answer.

I soo relate, he broke my heart and now I’m alone…again. I honestly don’t know why I keep putting myself out there just to get hurt again.

  6. pixieon 07 Jul 2011 at 12:56 pm

    Trisha, I’m thirteen. Why?
Oh, and, Colton? you keep putting yourself out there because the bliss of love outweighs the trouble and heartache. You do it, because if you didn’t, that little bit of sunshine would be lost to you.
Thanks, guys. For reading. For the support.

Wow pixie for someone so young to write such a powerful poem with such passion! thought it was amazing down to the very last word! You’re like a young Robert Frost with the pain and slight bitterness and hope to read many more of your incredible poetry and hope you never give it up! Brilliant!

I should say thank you. I guess maybe that’s what i am saying. Thank you.
But, hear me now, being bitter at 13… it isn’t great. It isn’t awesome. It’s something that eats away at your soul. After seeing what I’ve seen..
    You’d never feel safe again.

Pixie, i know what it’s like to be bitter at thirteen I was and I still am, but someone with your talent, as special as you are, there is greatness out there for you and someone will make you very happy, I know it. By the way, thanks (I’m colton).

Justaboy, i honestly disagree with some of what u said. But, I do appreciate you saying it.
Thanks, Trisha. And, btw, asking people their age on a poetry website is weird :p
Why do you want to know, anyway?
