Just to find You
riding across lands far & wide
past willows and oak trees
through the mountainous terrain
over the oceans and seas
into the snowy tundra
and the heat of The Great Plains
riding my horse like there’s not another day to live
traveling just to find you
fighting beasts of all kind
and slaying them with a sword
while gashes run up and down my body
i burn the wounds to stop the bleeding
and hit the road again
my boat crashing over the waves
hitting rocks upon each side my boat breaks
and down she goes
i sm=wim ashore to find a few trees
good enough to build a raft with
and i’m on my way again
sailing the seven seas i finally hit land
only to find myself in a war
the heat wearing me down i cross the desert storm
still to find you locked away
i climb the brick wall where you await
when i finally reach the top i’m out of breath
but i still manage to kiss you
i pick you up and carry you out
breaking down any door in my way
nobody and nothing will hold me away
Damn that was enthralling
well thank you… key to writing is letting it flow and writing from ur heart…this is everything i feel
What chu said is so true. And when you do let go of everything you’re feeling like: POW and Ratatatata and more POW and ooooh and aaaah You know what i mean? It feels so good. Its like the cleansing of the mind and the soul.
