Let It Out

Published by at 8:05 pm under emo Poems

Although friendships are required
Sometimes they leave me tired.
And being alone isn’t always bad
You can do things you never had
Things you can’t do with others
Lock the door, close the shutters,
Climb into bed, Under the covers
Grab your pillow, your teddy bear..
Let it out, it’s only fair
You can’t always keep your feelings inside
It’s hard enough trying to hide
So pull out the tissue box, or a towel, or two..
Just lay there and cry and hour, or for a few
Doing this doesn’t make you weak
And you can’t help but feel bleak
So don’t stand there and bottle it in
Because it’ll just come back out again
Take the time and let it out
Pour out your feelings like a teapot spout
Courage is not about being strong
Courage is about having the will to go on.

I liked the message at the end of this and it’s good advice to people who get mad or sad a lot 🙂

    Well done.
Your ending was beautiful, and so true.
Hope you don’t mind if I paste this on my wall xD

Oh wow! I go to school and jump onto this website to look at poems, and I see you guys comment on it! :’) Thanks guys, I worked hard on it, and I plan to write more soon. Sorry I’m not using my account to write this, a lot of people have a problem with hacking at this school, no matter what they might be hacking… .__.
    Thanks again guys 🙂
