Like a game of chess
A bridge to lead me across
badly broken but still working
Filled with so much loss
I move the king for the pawn
this field is like a game of chess
My queen is dead and the white rook stands tall
I take my cross from the empty hall
Your the cure i take every moring
For the poison i drink every night
There’s so much more to love then you know
And i’ll show it all with your hand in mine
the knight is closing in, his horse rambling through
But my king stands in its path
And shouts “duty calls”
and even before i can blink he falls..
Having read this I believed it was rather informative. I appreciate you taking the time and energy
to put this article together. I once again find myself
spending a significant amount of time both reading and
commenting. But so what, it was still worthwhile!
