little girl no-one could save.

Published by at 2:18 pm under emo Poems

Little girl
scared past tears
running away from pain
for all these years.

Spilling blood,
dripping down
brung her peace,
doesn’t now.

running away
from the voices that call
he’s coming
and so she hides in blindness
sight blurred from tears
she knows he shouldn’t be doing this
she knows something’s deeply wrong.
she has to stand and fight
she cannot give in and fall.

sitting quietly
a single tear drops
the pain she feels
from the dirt she breads
she can’t make a sound
but she can no longer breathe.

why does he do this?
why to me?
why arn’t all the other girls
afraid of the “daddy’s”?

why does no-one notice?
why does no-one care?
your little girl is dying before your eye’s
no attention can you spare.

runs to her bedroom
cause the pain gets too much
has to let it all out
she finds the razor
and begins to slice.

she slices up her arms
and down her legs
too numb to feel pain
she’s nothing.
she’s Worthless.

Do you know what you made me feel?
LOOK, at what you’v done!
i can’t handle this anymore
i just want to fall
cause i don’t have the strength anymore
to continue to run.

little girl.
to scared to try
she staves herself
and paints her face
she tries to hide.

why oh why,
did you let me get so stained?
deceptionous beauty
my soul you couldn’t save.

you mess with love
like a kid with fire
you made me hurt
it was your goal

which became my desire.

i can’t help but run back
to a girl no-one could save
a girl so stupid and gullable
to believe perfection still exists.

and with all these memories
creeping back
a blade slowly tracing
the veins i should now lack.
dinner on the table
excuses
“i feel sick.”
can’t escape his hands
the one reason i started to feel
so putrid and worthless.

afterall
i am your daughter
it was by you both
i was concieved
but if i knew i would have to endure
this torture
i wouldn’t have wanted your love to make me.

i would just want
to have died
with the first breath
i breathed.

I read the poem about 5 times before I calmed down enough to realize the minor errors. Honestly, nobody cares about them; the poem is wayyy too intense to even think about dissing it.
Some of the poem comes off as slightly morbid, which i liked. An astonishing amount of the emotions I think you were trying to relay came off very strongly and were easy to relate to.
It felt like I was RIGHT THERE…
    Good job =D

This is soo touching especually when you know the pain. I love the style in the writing, and the mood is perfectly spoken.
