Hurts to Miss her

Published by at 7:42 am under Sad Love Poems

The pale opalescence of her skin
and the voluptuous quality of her face
is tantalizing my fire within
to hunger for ethereal embrace.

Her conduct, to say the least, somnifacient
stirs my cautious clandestine mind.
I charge myself masochistic but tolerant
to have allowed me to live with such a propitious find.

Her ebullience in the face of my desiccation
revealed her iridescent core
her salacious body, God’s purest creation,
and mellifluous spirit make me perservate all the more.

I do not request you to empathize
only to hear my exhausted words.
I’ve learned Love does not always strategize.
And succinctly, I miss her so much it hurts.
