Love Sworn By

Published by at 8:52 am under Dark Love Poems

No man is an island, no girl is alone.
Just wish that this “rule” would apply to my own.
Although I am helpless and tired and scared,
it would all be worth it if only you cared.

I try to be faithful, I think just of you.
If only love sworn by would swear to be true;
And treasure was buried, but wealth lies inside –
for all of the poor hearts who long since have died

I tremble so weakly, I tremble for you
Until pure deceiving is all I can do…
Be patient and helpful. Be strong and be kind.
Be all of the rest I would crave in my mind.

I’m honest in lying; the truth brings regret
and all of my scars have been set in cement.
Try breathing my passion, just breathe in and out.
Believe in these lover’s whose love lies in doubt…
