Lover Melody

Published by at 11:24 am under I Love You Poems

You are the orchestra of my heart

play to me your symphony of love

Draw my taught bow across your strings

as my body vibrates to your melody

You liberate your bounty

a symphony of joy sweeping

through stark alleyways of my mind

and oh I sense a tremor in the composition

of your masterpiece

an insignificant flaw which renders you human

and yet the music you perform

fashions in me a solace

that conveys my soul

to plains of unimaginable hope

I ache for you my lover,

play your symphony

that you may consume

my waiting heart
