Massacre of Paper hearts

Published by at 2:00 pm under Heartbreak Poems

I killed a man once,
With a toothpick and a stone.
I popped his bloated ego,
And smashed his fragile state of mind.
Hes still breathing,
But hes definitly not living.
I hope his lessons learnt,
Cos my love is irreplaceable
But you cannot die from a broken heart,
Its the loneliness that will kill ya.
…………….I wish I knew that from the start.
I’ll keep myself destracted,
By pushing down skyscrapers,
And crushing castles made of sand
Untill the day comes
When a brave soilder will arrive,
Armmed with bandaids
and enough embraces to drown in,
To fix my fractured organ.
I have faith it will beat again.
