Missed the ball
funny how life turns to you and says your fallen
the more you try to hold on the more you slip away
the reasons why you try might be different
but it never fails you put your all into it
you think to yourself that if I show all the things that are wonderful in life to someone
that maybe just maybe they will see how life can be great
Do we pretend that we love each other only behind closed doors
or is there a way to make it real
will we find a life that we can make ours
where we can make it sometime more
A knight that has been pulled from his horse
A princess that broken her glass slippers
both missed the ball
covered in mud they slowly walk away
with the slightest of glances they look back at what could have been

e2809cOppenheimer, they tell me you are writing poerty. I do not see how a man can work on the frontiers of physics and write a poerty at the same time. They are in opposition. In science you want to say something that nobody knew before, in words which everyone can understand. In poerty you are bound to say something that everybody knows already in words that nobody can understand.e2809d
