When something’s really broken,
It’s tough to get it healed
When lies have been uncovered
Small truths, too, are revealed

When silence marks an ending
And darkness drowns the light
When all hope seems to fail you
And you can’t stand to fight

When God can’t spare an angel
And cloudy skies still cry
When life’s a heavy burden
With no reason to try

When all friends do abandon
And nothing can remain
When tears and blood are mixing
And cause one aching stain

When cuts and bruises mar your skin
With every single breath
There’s nothing more for you to do
The only answer’s death
