Now you see it now you don’t
I wake up every morning on my side, with a smile on my face
And the first thing I see is my alarm clock
I turn over on my other side
And the second thing I see is my closet
A frown appears
I open the car door and get out
Hoping luck is on my side
I walk into the store, turn left
And hope disappears
With you in mind I put the right headphone in first, then the left
Tears appear
I rummage through the pages of the binder that lies beneath my box spring.
A smile and tears sour across my face
I lay my head upon my pillow
I toss and turn
And start to cry
