Our First Time

Published by at 6:34 am under Goodbye Poems

Let’s say that this is our first time
Your perfect lips so soft on mine
With gentle hands on silky skin
And warmth that pools down deep within

Let’s think not of a darker past
Think just of this, and make it last
Hear stifled moans and heated cries
Just feel the flesh ’til either dies

Let’s find the rhythm, build the beat
We’re slick with sweat in moistened heat
Hard and rigid, tight and wet
This night’s of passion, not regret.

Let’s find perfection, find release
With bodies tamed and minds at peace
Build up the tension, then explode
From where this salty slickness flowed

Let’s love each other, here, tonight
Although for you it’s all in spite
And then, tomorrow, when you leave
I’ll take my time to stop and grieve
