One was spared, another doomed
Ahead a daunting future loomed

One got peace, one still pleads
To be released as one was freed

One is sweet, the other cruel
She seeks the innocence of fools

One was heard, the other still
Silence forced by strengh of will

One was proud, one ashamed
Acting as if she were tamed

One had comfort, the other pain
Wishing she had long been slain

One knew love, the other hate
Burdened by this heavy weight

One was nurtured, the other died
She committed suicide
