Those who don’t feel this Love

By Rumi

Those who don’t feel this Love
pulling them like a river,
those who don’t drink dawn
like a cup of spring water
or take in sunset like supper,
those who don’t want to change,

let them sleep.

This Love is beyond the study of theology,
that old trickery and hypocrisy.
I you want to improve your mind that way,

sleep on.

I’ve given up on my brain.
I’ve torn the cloth to shreds
and thrown it away.

If you’re not completely naked,
wrap your beautiful robe of words
around you,

and sleep.

it is more than a gift to feel \’real love\’, even if just once in a person\’s lifetime. but we all do not have the boldness to embrace that love..

i have a poem which i think that you will be intrested in …
it called My love for you. it is based on when i met my first boyfriend… i feel as if that i can relate to your poems because they show feelings in them like mine do when i write them…

    I heard in town
    a young king begs
    while kneeling down
    at her stunning legs

    She handed the potion
    then gave him a clue
    and with a little motion
    his heart flew

    He took off the crown
    and did she do?
    She dropped her gown
    and whispered “I love you”
