Unless you help me, I will die.
I say this as it’s true.
I have no will to carry on;
My will was once in you.

Unless you get me on my feet,
I’ll stay here on the ground.a
And in ten years, I’ll still be here
and I’ll not have been found.

Unless you get me warm and fed
I’ll freeze and starve to death.
The ice stings through my lungs and throat
and chills each aching breath.

Unless you help me, I will die.
I only speak what’s true.
And now it’s your turn – Tell me this:
Can I depend on you?
