Happy Valentines Poem
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I would compare you to sugar, but it’s not as sweet as you.
What then shall I compare you to?
The night sky that twinkles with stars up above?
No, for you outshine all the stars in the sky.
The sweetness of spring after long winter days?
Nay, for your lovelier than sunshine in the month of May.
A summer breeze? The autumn trees? The sparkling snow on Christmas Eve?
The setting sun? A peaceful dream when the day is done?
You’re all these things, and more, to me.
I don’t know how to say this without sounding too cliché, but I love you sweetie.
