When Happily Ever After Ends

By: Whyte Rose

A million words wouldn’t bring you back,
I know because I’ve tried.
A thousand tears wouldn’t bring you back,
I know because I’ve cried.
No greater sorrow can compare you see,
than to recall happiness in times of misery.
And here we stands two worlds apart.
How do you mend a broken heart?
False hopes I made believe,
that till the end, you’ll never leave.
The truth hurts I know I can’t pretend,
When happily ever after ends.
