Wondering
To love someone is to let them be free
Even though you are thinking of them constantly
What are they doing? Are they doing okay
Are they now happy. And look forward to each day
Is there a smile on their face and a glint in their eye
Is there a spring in their step as they gaze up at the sky.
Or are they lonely at times? does their heart still feel pain?
Do they ever wonder if they will feel love again?
Do sometimes they wish you would just get in touch
To say that you miss them and love them so much
Or are they glad you have gone and have let them be
For to love someone is to set them free.
