You were my everything, my salvation, my love

But now i know it was never enough

I caught you with her on that September day

i just wanted to run away.

For all this time I thought you were mine, but now i realize i was just a pastime

You apologize again and again. But i know this is the end.

My heart is in two, one half still belongs to you.

I will never forget your smile, your hair, your laugh

I feel like i’ve been torn in half.

You: The one who mended my heart then smashed it to pieces, The one who i thought i always wanted.
