Your Decision

Published by at 5:45 pm under Heartbreak Poems

Remember!! It was your decision, NOT mine,
You’ve always wanted this and that’s fine,
So let’s make a final toast my love, raise your glass of wine,
Relax, things will get better; it’s just a matter of time

I’m gonna tolerate this no more and live in this endless night,
Your rope is getting too firm and hell too tight,
I’m choking, in vain, craving for the light,
While you’re applauding your victory, is this what you call “right”?

You’ve left me with nothing but misery & despair
And now you’re trying to convince me that you still care,
Have it your way, I will no longer bear
Being your puppet, your dummy, this is just not fair

Don’t you dare call it my decision,
I’ve done the impossible, accepted the intolerable, buried my premonition
Believing in love, falling into you, having my own vision
Unfortunately, it takes two to tango, two to fulfill the mission,
After all it’s your life, your right, your own decision
