I loved once, then lost it
The feeling is horrible
A ripping of your soul
And the fading of your sanity

I was depressed, but I tried to move on
You had already forgotten me
I found a friend, we became close
And I see you now notice me

But after a while, the feeling is gone
My new love … I don’t love
I love him enough not to break his heart
But I am in love with only one.

I miss you, the way you cheered me up
The way you made me laugh
The way you held my heart in your hands
No one can replace you

I know not why you left
Only you are happy
I am please at you happiness
But sad at my emptiness

I love you always
And still do
I need to move on
But I love and miss you.

o’how disheartening to know someone feels my same pain,it’s been years and hasn’t stopped totally. keep writing it is good for the soul. i like u tell it like it is.

just a thought, id hate to be in the place of that friend of yours. loving a person who doesnt love him back. but i know how you feel. how can i move on when i dont want to? 🙁
