Too Precious

Published by at 12:34 am under Love and Friendship Poems

A sock on my head for a laugh and a smile
A friend I have cared for for more than a while
Happy with reason and rarely am sad
You are the best friend that I’ve ever had

Good times a plenty, grinning like fools
Friends are too precious to randomly lose.
Time’s not expensive, I’d spend it with you
Just sad that sometimes there is nothing to do.

Decide that I’m happy and learn how to smile.
Taught by a good friend I’ve loved for a while.
Friends over distance, hugs across sea
The best friend on earth is as silly as me.
